It’s spring and l am loving my daily walks. Just stopping by each house and appreciating their blossoming trees and gardens. I love the lilacs that grow right near where l live and the cherry blossom and apple trees that are n bloom. They remind me of my childhood. My father had plante a crab apple tree when l was borni the front yard and we used to prune and pick the apples from our backyard later on in fall.

I was wondering about what characteristics in art, the art collectors are looking for? What makes art
collectable? Is it a matter of personal taste? Does it depend on the art market or how well known an artist is (how many works they’ve sold)?
Does the artist who has no art training (self-taught) but gains popularity have just as much of a chance to succeed as one who does have formal training in studio or visual arts? Please let me know if you are a collector or an artist and please respond to any of my questions. I would love to chat about these topics here or you can find me on Facebook @Judydcreates.
